What the riders say!

Rose Lewis - Hi Ken and the rest of the little lumpy team. Just a quick note to say thanks for a great sportive. The support and cake at the feed stations was amazing the cup of tea and homemade shortbread was especially pleasing before the final 40k. so please do pass on our thanks to all your team. The entire sportive was super relaxed and very enjoyable - no super big groups telling you to get out of the way and no gels at the feed stations (although I perhaps should have had one just to get up that last hill - So mean ) Please don’t sell out to one the big race organisers - charge us more if required.

Stuart Brandom – “I undertook the ride yesterday and I’d like to send my appreciation to all the team of volunteers.  It was a fantastic ride and my first hilly sportive. Of all the sportives I’ve done, the feed stations were by far and away the best I’ve ever experienced.  The cake selection was amazing and the positive attitudes of all the helpers really helped to keep me going. Thank you again and I look forward to maybe tackling the Epic route next year.”

Glyn Pinnington (Crawley Wheelers) – “Please can I sincerely thank the entire team for all their efforts in making today’s ride such a great success. Everything was wonderful, from the marshals guiding us around the school & the parking, the ladies on the sign in desk, the breakfast cooks, the cake bakers, the guys at the feed stations, the admin guys, the sign team & the doubtless many others. Just couldn’t be bettered! See you all again next year!”

Nigel Dawson (Tadworth Fat Boys) – “I am one of the Tadworth Fat boys and would like to pass on my thanks to you and all the team who organised and managed the 2018 Little Lumpy. This is my first time at this event, and although I found it the most challenging ride I have done to date, it was thoroughly enjoyable. All the people at the food stops were absolutely fantastic, please pass on my thanks to this team as without these refills of energy I probably wouldn’t have made it to the finish. I understand all the proceeds from this event go to a chosen charity, and I would like to add a little more to this, as I feel it was such a great event and deserves more funds to be raised.”

Keith Stockwell - Ken what a great day, thanks to you and everyone involved in organising the best sportive in the world  c u next year. One of the many on Social media Sir

Park the Shark - Definitely was a good one, other sportive companies need to take note,  Little Lumpy smashed it today!
